Because delivering quality to our customers is at the forefront of everything we do, we have recently invested in an updated fleet of glass carrying vehicles.

The transportation of Fenestration products (especially glass) can prove the most hazardous event in their lifespan, that’s why our new vehicles are professionally fitted out to ensure your brand new doors and windows are transported with the upmost care.

Supplied by ‘Trucksmiths’ of Exeter (specialist converters of Renault trucks for industries where the transportation of heavy loads needs to be carried out with the upmost care) the vehicle pictured above is equipped with air suspension, allowing the rear load bed to be lowered to within 250mm of the floor. This allows for easy loading and unloading of your doors and windows, reducing the possibility of damage to frames, glass and our installers. The air suspension also acts as a cushion during the ride, providing in-transit protection for our high-quality glass units.

Because of the vehicle’s spacious interior, we can transport large door frames with their projecting cills attached. This means we can carry out the weather-critical process of sealing and fixing the cills within our controlled factory environment, rather than delivering them separately for this process to be carried out on a wet, muddy building site.
